The best periodontics & implant education courses were held from December 22nd to 24th and 28th to 31st at Taipei Howard Civil Service International House, hosted by TAOI (Taiwan Academy of Osseointegration). Dr. Hom Lay Wang gave lectures on Advances in Oral Plastic Surgery. The objectives of the lectures were to help participants understand the principles of an esthetic smile, comprehend the goals and surgical aspects of esthetic and functional (restorative-oriented) crown lengthening, learn to control factors that influence the outcomes of soft tissue grafts, and develop skills in managing soft tissue-related complications.
